Cancellation & Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing our services! We look forward to providing your child with a wonderful learning experience. To ensure a smooth process for all our customers, please review our cancellation and refund policy below.
General Terms
- All cancellation requests must be made by email to Beth@storyo.net.
- We reserve the right to cancel a session at any time. In this event, you will be notified promptly and offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule at no additional charge.
For One-Time Storytimes & Events
- Cancellations 24 Hours or More in Advance: If you cancel your one-time session at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the session fee.
- Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours in Advance: If a cancellation is requested less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, we are unable to provide a refund.
For Tutoring Sessions (One-on-One)
- Cancellations 24 Hours or More in Advance: If you cancel your tutoring session at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the session fee.
- Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours in Advance: If a cancellation is requested less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, we are unable to provide a refund.
- State-Funded Programs: Please note that if your tutoring sessions are funded by a state tutoring program, all sessions are considered final, and no refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation.
No-Show Policy
- If a client does not show up for a scheduled session without providing prior notice, it will be considered a no-show. In this case, the client will forfeit the entire payment for that session.
Special Circumstances
- Technology Issues: If a session cannot be completed due to a technical issue at our end (e.g., a faulty link), we will not issue a refund. However, we will provide you with free credit to book your next one-time session at no charge.
- Medical Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency that prevents you from attending, we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis. If proven, we will provide free credit for a one-time session.
